Anton Posner, Chief Executive Officer

Prior to joining Mercury Resources, Anton was Chief Executive Officer of CWT Commodities USA, the North American unit of the Singapore based global logistics and financial services company CWT Limited. Over his career Anton held positions at supply chain management companies and steamship lines including sales and marine operations.

Anton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation / Business Administration from The State University of New York Maritime College at Fort Schuyler where he also obtained his United States Merchant Marine License as a Third Mate. After his academic career at SUNY Maritime, Anton served as an officer in the United States Naval Reserve in various units including as a junior officer in Naval Control of Shipping unit in New York.

Anton has lectured at several colleges and universities on the business of logistics including The State University of New York Maritime College, The United States Merchant Marine Academy, and Baruch College of the City University of New York.

Anton is based in the Sarasota Florida area.

margo brock, PRESIDENT

Prior to joining Mercury Resources, Margo was Vice President and Managing Member of CWT Commodities USA, the North American unit of the Singapore based global logistics and financial services company CWT Limited. 

Margo graduated from the State University of New York Maritime College in 1995 with a degree in Marine Transportation / International Business, as well as a United States Merchant Marine License as a Third Mate of Steam or Motor Vessels.

After graduating from Maritime, Margo went on to spend the next ten years working in operations for various soft commodities, with eight years in the cocoa trading division of ED&F Man.   During her time at ED&F Man Margo worked the back office on exchange commodity trading (on the Coffee, Cocoa, Sugar Exchange, later NYBOT) while also working the commercial side of physical deliveries of the commodity.  

Margo joined MID-SHIP Logistics in 2005, where she focused on bulk and break bulk cargos for shipment to/from the United States. At MID-SHIP, Margo handled steel, metals, and raw materials as they moved between overseas ports and inland US facilities, coordinating all aspects of proper cargo handling and logistics for various clients.   

BRIAN KOSTEF, PARTNER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR OF MERCURY TRANSPORTATION SOLUTIONS

Brian Kostef joined The Mercury Group as Managing Director of Mercury Transportation Solutions LLC in August 2020 and is based in Houston, Texas.

Prior to joining The Mercury Group, Brian was Vice President of Trucking Operations and Vice President of Business Development while with MID-SHIP Group LLC.

Brian proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps with a discipline in logistics and embarkation. During his time in the Corps, Brian was stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina and deployed to Aviano Air Base, Italy in support of OperationsDeny Flight / Provide Promise.

Brian graduated from Robert Morris University in Moon Twp., PA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Degree with a discipline in Logistics Management.

Katherine Moran, Vice President of Operations

Katie graduated James Madison University in 2010 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Affairs and Spanish. After graduation Katie began working in the Operations department for CWT Commodities USA, the North American unit of the Singapore based global logistics and financial services company CWT Limited. At CWT Katie specialized in managing barge, truck, and rail logistics operations for steel, metals, and raw materials.

After 6 years with CWT Katie relocated to Rhode Island in 2016 and began working for athletic pads manufacturer, G-Form. At G-Form Katie managed US and EU 3PL warehouses, B2B/B2C shipments, routing guide compliance for major US distributors, and supply chains that spanned multiple continents.

Katie returned to dry bulk and break-bulk logistics in 2021 when she joined Mercury Resources and is based in Providence, RI.

Brittany Hamilton, Middle East North Africa / EUROPE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Brittany graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations, and followed up with a J.D. and an MBA from University of Richmond in Virginia. Brittany joined Cortview Capital Markets, and later Sterne Agee, as a credit risk specialist before striking out as a consultant for financial institutions looking to invest or open offices overseas.

Brittany joins Mercury Resources as a partner and consultant, specializing in European and MENA region markets, and assisting with business development and regional regulatory and logistical challenges. Brittany applies her legal and financial background in ensuring the most practical and feasible solution to shipping and operational challenges in the region.  Brittany represents Mercury Resources out of Miami, Florida.
